Welcome to my world! I’m Matteo Demicheli – music producer, independent artist, and founder of Sounds Social: a platform built to connect music creators, producers, and musicians from all around the globe. Under my artist alias Insan3Lik3, I’ve been building a network of over 50,000 followers and releasing music since 2011 on renowned labels such as Monstercat, SectionZ, and ENM.

Sounds Social is the result of my passion for music, technology, and community. Here’s my story.

My Journey in Music

Music has always been at the heart of everything I do. I started playing piano at the age of five and discovered music production around 2009 when I began experimenting with FL Studio. By 2011, I released my debut track “Bad Pitched” on Monstercat – a milestone that launched my career as Insan3Lik3.

In 2012 and 2013, I released several tracks that gained traction within the EDM community, including:

  • Better Than Expected (with Throttle)
  • The Other Day
  • Clocks (with Hot Date! feat. Chrisson)
  • French Fries
  • Dat Voices

Over time, I continued to evolve my sound and explore new genres: from Electro House and Glitch Hop to Nu-Disco and beyond. Tracks like Bliss, Rescue Me (with Jonny Rose), Feel Alive (with Charlotte Haining), and We Are the Robots (feat. Temu) became fan favorites. My releases appeared on labels like Monstercat and SectionZ Records, and later, I went fully independent.

Fast forward to today, I’ve built an international audience of over 50,000 followers across social media, streaming platforms, and fan communities. This journey taught me the importance of connection, collaboration, and creativity – values that would later inspire Sounds Social.

The Idea Behind Sounds Social

While navigating the music industry as an independent artist, I noticed a recurring challenge: producers and musicians often work in isolation. Finding collaborators or simply exchanging ideas could feel overwhelming, especially for newcomers.

Sure, platforms like SoundCloud allowed us to share tracks, but they didn’t foster real connections. Forums felt outdated, and social media wasn’t built for meaningful collaboration.

That’s when the idea hit me:

What if there was a dedicated platform for music creators to connect, collaborate, and grow together?

And so, Sounds Social was born – a platform designed for:

Why I Built It

Sounds Social exists because of my own journey as a music producer.
I know how hard it can be to find trustworthy collaborators or get meaningful feedback. I’ve experienced the grind of working alone, and I’ve also seen the magic that happens when creatives come together.

I wanted to give back to the community that shaped me – by creating a space where connection drives creativity.
